Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair confronted each other to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex twice world heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Size Difference
As the two fighters participated in the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
